Tank Girl was originally commissioned by a lovely man for his pregnant wife, who has a secret guilty pleasure for the comic character. After seeing a lot of my work, he wanted me to do my own version of the legendary, Jamie Hewlett's, Tank Girl Comic. To me that's like asking someone to reinvent the wheel. The pressure of having to live up to someone you idol is immense, but I'm so glad I took the challenge on and I think they are too.
