1200 x 1200mm Original Painting on Stretched Canvas
Gin has a remarkable history. It has been used to cure social inadequacy, kidney infections, dreadful dance moves, and while away terribly boring afternoons. It's been medicinal, nautical, consistently hedonistic and the most talked about spirit since the 17th century.
South Gin is made by those cheeky rascals that make 42 Below Vodka in New Zealand - another iconic kiwi product.
I've transported this lovely lady into the modern era pinup and combined her alluring curves with some of the things that New Zealanders hold dear - Gin. The result is a sexy blend of nostalgia and kiwiana, of sensuality and consumability, and of the most enduring combination of all - sex and selling.
